We have conducted and been involved in several programs to track movements of fish, marine mammals and seabirds in Canada and Australia.

Marine mammal and seabird pelagic surveys are core components of industry environmental monitoring programs, such as offshore seismic, oil and gas development and shipping activities.  We are fully certified and trained in MMO/MMSO methods, regulations and protocols with extensive experience in the Northwest Atlantic and Eastern Arctic.

MARPOL and Cruise industry environmental compliance

We have global experience with the cruise industry at-sea and in ports complying with MARPOL, port and flag state environmental regulations.  This has additionally involved training of crew members, preparing for environmental audits, and providing on-board lectures to passengers.  Specifically involved in overseeing on board waste streams (bilge oil, garbage, food waste, black/grey water, ballast and air emissions).

Remote  field camp logistics and planning

We have experience establishing and operating remote field camps in Canada, Australia and the Caribbean, including both boat and land-based platforms up to several months in duration.

Public Presentations and academic lectures

We have conducted public presentations and academic lectures on land and at-sea for both general and specific audiences.  Academic lectures have included Dalhousie University (Nova Scotia, Canada), Marine Institute (Newfoundland, Canada) and Saint George's University (Grenada).  Presentations and lectures can be conducted in-person or remotely.
